Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is delayed but it's okay

Fantasy Life is a simulation game on the Nintendo 3DS which was simply amazing. Fantasy Life played as a delightful fantasy action RPG with a personal touch of immersion charm to it. You can play and switch between 12 classes at any time and complete various tasks in an open-world fantasy RPG. You can also buy houses and be able to decorate them.

I liked Fantasy Life better than Rune Factory for the Nintendo 3DS on the overall gameplay. But Fantasy Life lacked the further character development that Rune Factory had. That is, you can get married in Rune Factory, and you can only improve your social bond with your ally in Fantasy Life. Honestly, I didn't even hire any allies on my first playthrough.

Heck even the My Time games flourish in character development, but you're stuck as a craftsman there.

Fantasy Life is definitely worth your cozy games collection. However the sequel is delayed which was supposed to release this October 10. The game is slated now to release on April 2025. If you've missed Fantasy Life and its spin-off sequels, let's just focus on Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time for the Nintendo Switch.

In Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, players will expect to be able to play multiple classes again. It will be a story-driven game which takes place on an island where you will develop your town. However, players can play coop now. I'm not sure if you'll just develop one town or two.

The twist to the sequel is the ability to time travel adding a layer of planning and management on developing the island. The time travel may also impact the story progression. And I'm honestly interested on how the time travel, building, and open world exploration will play out. We will have to wait until Spring 2025. And that's okay!-- as long as they don't cancel it.

Now that I've mentioned it. Wouldn't it be a good move to port Fantasy Life (3DS) on the Switch?
